NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence’s Digital Threats

Two Girls Inc. of Long Island teens represented Girls Inc. at the NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence’s Digital Threats, Real Harm Summit in Albany, NY. As teen panelists, they shared powerful insights on how technology shapes relationships, safety, and well-being – helping youth-serving professionals better understand the realities of the teen generation. The girls also toured the New York State Capitol and New York State Museum, and participated in Summit breakout sessions on digital safety, AI companions, and online scams – gaining valuable tools to recognize and prevent technology-facilitated abuse.
